Sea moss is a seaweed, so it’s vegan-friendly. Its fame revolves around its vast nutritional content. According to the US Department of Agriculture, Chondrus crispus is a source of:

✔️Amino-acids (glycine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid, tryptophan…)
✔️Omega fatty acids

Wrapping up, Irish sea moss is a dense-nutrient seaweed beneficial for human beings and also useful as a culinary ingredient.

What is sea moss gel?

The gel from Red algae is True Sea Moss’ hallmark, as we co-worked with the finest food suppliers in California to bring the most unique, harmonic, delicious, and health-beneficial gels to the market.

In plain English, a gel from the Irish sea moss is a raw sea moss root blended with a cup of spring water, and some other ingredients (optionally). At True Sea Moss we vouch for our gels, as they contain zero artificial additives, sugar, or preservatives, and are only sweetened with farm-harvested, genuine fruits.

Gels are not the only sea moss supplement version offered, but it’s the most advantageous, due to other ingredients in its content. Besides, it’s quite yummy — you can eat it standalone or mix it with your drinks, oatmeal, and other snacks.

It is especially advantageous for people with depression, anxiety, or mental breakdown.

How to make your sea moss drink vegan-friendly?

A cakewalk!

If you are vegan or want your drinks to simply not contain any animal products, you can easily switch all ingredients to their plant alternatives:

🥛Milk — switch to almond milk, it’s sweeter and lighter than other plant-based milk, but not that watery.

🍯Honey — switch to stevia, agave syrup, or maple syrup. If you’re a calorie-watcher, replace sugar with stevia and almond milk with coconut milk.
