At True Sea Moss, our commitment to quality, transparency, and care for our community is at the heart of everything we do. It’s with that commitment and out of an abundance of caution we recently announced a voluntary product recall of all Sea Moss Gel Superfood products.

There have been no reported illnesses, no adverse health effects and no cases of botulism linked to Sea Moss Gel Superfood products.

This action is being taken due to regulatory documentation guidelines involving the pH-controlled records for the product. Foods like ours, which are made without artificial preservatives, are subject to specific FDA guidelines that require detailed process controls and record keeping. While no illnesses or adverse health events have been reported, FDA guidance requires companies to take corrective action when documentation does not fully meet regulatory standards. This recall reflects our commitment to meeting those standards and maintaining the highest level of product quality and safety.
